Growing up in Athens, Greece, Sunday mornings at home were an eclectic musical affair. His father would spin everything from jazz to ethnic beats and John cites listening to this broad spectrum of rhythmic textures as being extremely influential in the music he now plays and today, many years later, the tracks he lays down constantly hint at this.

The offer to join and be a part of the Techfui brand was met with much enthusiasm by John as he and Salah share such similar taste and vision.

Born and raised in Bahrain, Salah’s ability to get a serious party going with his dj sets that navigate seamlessly through minimal-deep-house-groovy-techno puts him up with the very best in the business. Using the skills that he started developing at a very early age (14) spinning at small venue gigs, he has spent the last 18 years honing his craft and during that time has played alongside many of the worlds most famous and respected djs, including Laurent Garnier, Peace Division, Josh Wink, Satoshi Tomiie, Seamus Haji and Lexicon Avenue.

Now based in Dubai and well known in for his sets at leading venues Nasimi Beach, Madinat Rooftop, Barasti Beach House, Alpha and CHI, Salah also makes regular trips to perform at clubs, parties and festivals around the globe and also contributes material to various radio stations both at home and in the countries he visits.
Coming soon is the launch of Salah’s imprint, the “Techfui” label; a first release imminent.

With the WE ARE… Crowds establishing their home for UNDERGROUND VIBES on Fridays, this is yet another friday set to GO OFF!!!

Techfui is the brain child of Bahrain born dj and promoter Salah Sadeq. In 1999 he became resident dj at “Likwid”, the only club in Bahrain dedicated to pushing underground house and techno music and later launched his Techfui night to critical acclaim.

Techfui’s sound is synonymous with rolling beats and explorations into the deeper realms of house and techno as well as encompassing more abstract electronic musical excursions. An experience not to be missed, Techfui always delivers top drawer, quality music at all their events.

Sets from Techfui have been featured on various worldwide radio shows over the years and the nights have featured major influential artists from the underground scene such as Ame, 16b, Peace Division, Richard Parker, Hisham Samawi and Mazi to name but a few.
